The main goal of ‘Santa's on the way’ project is to organize traditional, charitable Christmas party for children in need from Konopnica community near Lublin. We will increase empathy of local and European society for help to others. We will also advertise voluntary service actions in Lubelskie region of Poland and in Europe. We will develop our key competences to work more effectively in everyday’s life.
Thanks to that we will increase our opportunities on labour market together with our partners from Slovakia. We will create chance of personal development by ourselves. We also want to compare voluntary work in Poland and Slovakia to inspire each other through getting to know new methods and skills. Openness for other cultures and traditions of citizens of our countries will be reinforced because of our fruitful and effective cooperation.
Thanks to our project we will give strong input in fight with passivity of European citizens and we will also make children happy before Christmas.
We will empathise our local communities to the importance of helping others and promote volunteering activities in the Lublin and Kosice regions. We will develop our key competences so that our daily work will be more effective. This will increase our and our peers' chances on labor market by acquiring skills desired by employers. We will be a good example for other young people how to be an active citizen of the European Union.
